"You Have Never Seen So Much Sky"

This is a phrase that arises on its own whenever the artist speaks or thinks about her home in the south of Ukraine. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, she hears about the destruction of the hydroelectric power plant, the occupation, the deaths of people and animals, ecocide, loss, pain, and death. In response, she always feels the urge to add: "You have never seen so much sky."
Before living through war herself, when she read about wars, she never considered the frustrated desire to prove that you came from life. The desire to remember yourself "before." The desire for others to know her home "before."
And at the same time, the last time she looked at the vast, boundless sky over the Kherson region was while standing at the 25th Russian checkpoint — and this must not be forgotten.
«Ви ніколи не бачили стільки неба»,

Це фраза, яка виникає сама собою, коли художниця говорить або думає про свій дім на півдні України. Після початку повномасштабного вторгнення у 2022 році вона чує про руйнацію ГЕС, окупацію, загиблих людей та тварин, екоцид, втрати, біль і смерть. У відповідь їй завжди хочеться додати: «Ви ніколи не бачили стільки неба».
Коли вона читала про війни до власного досвіду життя у війні, ніколи не замислювалась про фрустроване бажання довести, що ти прийшов із життя. Бажання пам'ятати себе «до». Бажання, щоб інші знали про її дім «до». І водночас востаннє вона дивилася на широке, безкрає небо над Херсонською областю, стоячи на 25-му російському блокпості, і це не можна забувати.
