Imago marks the final stage in a butterfly’s life cycle. In Metamorphosis, I explore the idea—shared here for the first time—that butterflies are souls granted one last day before dissolving into eternity. These ceramic pieces attempt to hold that fleeting moment: the final seconds of shedding what is human.
